Team 25 Daytona Preview -- Pepsi 400

·Jerry Nadeau's Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway Driving Guide --
"The Pepsi 400 is going to be a very exciting race. Any Daytona race is exciting, but when you run this race under the lights, it is just something special. We are taking the same car that we took to Talladega (Ala.) this year. This car was very fast; we led a lap and ran in the top five for a while. We ran great but just got lost in the shuffle and finished 26th."

·Welcome Home -- Team 25 Car Chief Gordon Gibbs is going home when the NASCAR Winston Cup Circuit visits Daytona Beach.
"I grew up ten minutes from the Daytona International Speedway," said Gibbs. "I always wanted to be part of a Winston Cup team when I would go watch the race. It brings back some old memories every time I go back to the speedway. I get to see family and some old friends, too, so I really enjoy going back to Daytona."
Gibbs moved to North Carolina to join a race team and never left. Gibbs was crew chief for Joe Gibbs' NASCAR Busch Series, Grand National Division team before joining Hendrick Motorsports. The 43-year-old was the substitute crew chief for the UAW-Delphi team for four races this year and had an average finish of 13th.

·Viggy's Dining Guide -- Nadeau's motorcoach driver, John "Viggy" Vignona, is a self-proclaimed connoisseur of the restaurants near each of the NASCAR Winston Cup Series tracks. The Long Island, N.Y., native recommends the Chart House in Port Orange, Fla.
"There is no question where you need to eat in Daytona," said Vignona. "The Chart House has the best food around. They have some awesome fish and a great view of the water. What is better than eating great food with a beautiful view?"
